extract the files, and place them in a directory used by the web server,
eg: /httpd/html/palm
edit the config.php file to your settings
you can test the page in your normal web browser.
if your using a server that's publicly available, edit an .htaccess
file and use access
control eg:.
order deny, allow
deny from all
allow from 192.168.1
Make sure the server has write permission to the directory where the error
list is saved.
Notes:
This has been tested with Server v4.1b1, with firmware 2.2, but it also
works with Server v3.
The reason I use Eudora is that it doesn't use a proxy server, unlike Blazer
or Web Pro. Those that use a proxy server can only access public sites. You
probably don't want to have your SliMp3 player controls publicly accessible.
See my Bluetooth Notes
for further information.
Shame that Eudora is a bit old, and isn't as good as the others.
As this is a web based controller, I can't see any reason why this wouldn't
work on any other wireless PDA that has a Web Browser.
